The Lady Warrior Soccer Team secures a 4-2 victory over the visiting Vikings! North Miami jumped out to a strong start possessing the ball well and securing a 2-0 lead in the first half of play. Just 20 minutes in, Lindey Townsend won a ball in the final third, playing it toward the 18 yard box. Caedra Behny maintained possession and played a back pass to Kinzy Storm who gave a first touch into space then finished strong into the left side of the net. The Warriors were able to press Tippy's back line and cause a turnover a few minutes later with Porscha Pickett securing the ball and playing a beautiful cross through the edge of the 18 yard box where a waiting Lexi McGovern finished the shot first touch far post leading to the Warriors 2-0 advantage. North Miami got off to a bit of a slow start in the second half and the pressing Vikings were able to level the score 2-2, but with less than 5 minutes left, the Lady Warriors took back control of the game when Haylee See made a clearing pass that Kinzy Storm was able to run on to, beat several defenders and make a final touch around the goalkeeper and finishing on goal. Ensuring a win, Laina Kling slotted a ball into space for Delilah Weaver, who in the last minute of the game put the Lady Warriors up 4-2 at the final whistle. Next up, the Lady Warriors travel to North White on Saturday for a 10:00am kick-off
