The North Miami Lady Warriors repeated as Sectional Champions as they defeated Southwood 50-27 on Saturday night. The Warriors came out strong in the first half taking a 24-12 lead into halftime. The Warriors kept up their strong defensive effort in the second half extending their lead 36-20 at the end of the third quarter. The fourth quarter was much of the same for the Lady Warriors as they again out scored Southwood 14-7 in the quarter to win 50-27. The Warriors were lead by Kayden Donaldson with 20 points 8 rebounds and 2 blocked shots. Laney Musall scored her 1000th career point on an assists from Sailors and was fouled. Laney finished the game with 15 points 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Grace Sailors continued her dominate play for the Warriors as she had 11 points 12 rebounds 6 assists and 5 blocked shots. Layla Hampton had 2 points and Brealyn Correll had 2 points to finish the scoring for North Miami. The Lady Warriors will travel to Frankfort on Saturday @ 1pm for their Regional matchup against Fountain Central .
