North Miami Lady Warriors lost a close battle with Hamilton Heights Tuesday night 70-60. Hamilton Heights came out strong missing only 1 shot the entire first quarter to take the lead 24-15. The Lady Warriors battled their way back in the second quarter hitting 5 three pointers to take 34-33 lead at halftime. The second half was back and forth and the Lady warriors fell short in the end. Leading the way for North Miami was Layla Hampton with 21 points, hitting 5 three-pointers. Kayden Donaldson had 19 points, Laney Musall had 12 points, Porscha Pickett 3 points, Grace Sailors 3 points and Laina Kiling 2 points. The Lady Warriors will take on Winamac in a conference battle on Friday Jan 9th at 6pm as a part of a boys/girls double header at home.
